Though expert coaching, I help people claim their stage, radiate confidence and charisma, propel their career, and increase their impact. With over 20 years as a professional theater director, podcast host, emcee, and arts leader, I bring a unique perspective and a practical and actionable set of tools to my work.

I have worked and lectured at dozens of theaters, colleges, and universities nationwide. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and a Masters of Fine Arts in Directing from Columbia University. As a theater director, I’ve worked with and lead over 1,800 actors and theater practitioners. Click here to see some of my theater directing work.

I am dedicated to community building in the arts sector, and believe in the power of creativity to enhance local economy, cultural identity, and civic life. In addition to my coaching and directing practice, I am the founder and host of I'm Into This Place, a podcast and radio program highlighting the vibrant arts, culture, and heritage of Southwest Washington State.
