Are you ready to rock your auditions?

Claim your stage, radiate confidence & charisma, and propel your career by knocking your audition out of the park.

I owe my Juilliard acceptance, at least in part, to your amazing ability to bring out the best in me as an actor and person.  Anyone would be lucky to have you in their corner as they prepare for their auditions.

Hi - I’m Adriana.

I’m a professional theater director, university professor, and audition coach who’s worked all over the country.

Over the past 25 years, I’ve been behind the table for over 2,000 actors’ auditions.

When it comes to “what works,” I know three things:

  1. You need to show us YOU.

  2. The people behind the table are on your side (really).

  3. Auditioning is weird. But it doesn’t have to be hard.

Applying for Grad School was stressful, but Adriana was very essential to easing my fears. I am so grateful for her guidance.

Welcome to
Get In: How to Rock Your MFA & URTA Auditions

I specialize in coaching for actors applying to MFA and advanced training programs. After years of successful one-on-one coaching and helping actors receive admission to programs including Brown, Juilliard, and NYU, I know that you need a specific set of lessons for this unique process.

What's different about me and this course is that I focus a not just on your audition, but on YOU. What makes you tick? What sets you apart from other actors? How can you think about your essays and applications, you self care ritual, your driving-purpose all as part of your process? What does it look like to show up as your full, 360-degree self? We talk not just about what the auditor wants, but what you want as well.

Lessons include

  • Who Are You and What Are You Looking For? About You: What is your passion, your purpose, your priority? About the School: What are you looking for, why, and what do you want the result to be?

  • School Research & Important Considerations: Important considerations when looking at programs, topics to research about schools, contacting alumni, questions to ask.

  • Essays & Applications: How to stand out with unique essay topics, what to always include in essays and applications, tips for how to “write” without “being a writer”

  • URTA Big Picture Overview: Where to get URTA info, the benefits of URTAs, live vs. virtual, the secret best reason to participate

  • Choosing Your Monologues - MFA/URTA: How many and what kind of monologues you need for training program auditions; how to mix and match to your advantage, how many of each classical and contemp you want (and how many Shakespeares).

  • How to Work on Your Monologues: How to work on your monologues with a coach, fellow actor, or friend; finding the right coach

  • On Camera Auditioning: On camera and self-tape tips and rules specifically for MFA/URTA auditions, creating structure so as not to lose your joy

  • Interviews and Questions to Prep: How to prepare for interviews; sample questions

  • Audition Weekend Tips & Tricks: Tips and tricks learned by auditioners who’ve come before you; what to wear & bring, where to stay, and more.

  • Group Warm Ups and Group Auditions: How to use the warm up as a chance to check out the room, what the auditors are looking for, the difference between a group warm up and a group audition, asking consent, how to handle your own energy.

  • Callbacks for MFA & URTAs: What to expect in various call backs, how to prepare for different types of spaces, how to prioritize during URTAs

  • What’s Next?: Your audition is over! Follow ups, how to handle the waiting period, making decisions, what to do next.

The value of this course is over $950,
but I’m offering it for just $300.
